Well, we’ve made it to 2024! As we enter the new year, it’s important to prepare ourselves for the trends that emerge and those that still reign. Here at Quantus Creative, we have compiled a list of the most important marketing trends predicted to define the next 12 months. 

Authenticity is Still Vital

We’ve seen this throughout 2023 with the emergence of UGC content and the growing industry of influencers. Authenticity remains the key to consumers’ hearts, and we don’t see this changing anytime soon. Keep in mind that people believe in brands that believe in them. Continue to create empowering, purpose-driven campaigns that encourage your audience to take action. Create user-generated content that others can relate to. Gone are the days of companies getting away with the bare minimum or relying on the allure of expensive television commercials. Being consistently hands-on and developing an authentic, trustworthy brand voice will make a huge difference in campaigns moving forward. 

Cookies Are Out!

As third-party cookies become harder to collect, our focus has shifted to first party data. Google has announced that their Privacy Sandbox project will begin gradually phasing out Chrome’s support of third-party cookies on January 4th, 2024. As more browsers crack down on the use of cookies, it’s time for companies to start collecting their own data. Utilize customer surveys and website visits to learn more about your audience, as well as customer service via online chats and social media. 

Accept Feedback

Speaking of customer service, listen to your audience! We cannot stress enough how important it is to welcome feedback and use those suggestions to improve your brand/company. This year will be extremely consumer-oriented, so listen to those who are willing to reach out.

Developments in AI

We’ve seen incredible developments in artificial intelligence in 2023. These improvements have been extremely helpful to some, while posing potential threats to others. Because AI entered the scene so quickly, those industry insiders who have created and developed these systems operate them based on personal ethics. As we move forward through 2024, it is predicted that regulations will be put in place such as President Biden’s executive order to ensure a more ethical approach to artificial intelligence by encouraging innovation, protecting users’ privacy, and standing up for consumers and workers. Companies are encouraged to stay up-to-date with all changes and regulations related to AI or consult with marketing professionals such as our team Quantus Creative to receive updates.
